We're rolling down a river, I ain't throwing you no lines. You rocked your boat over, why should I pull you into mine? Well I suggest you bail, and you learn how to swim, because the chances of me bailing you out are growing slim. I'd rather go without a paddle than take up your oar. Swim as fast as you are able and head for yonder shore. Now you're clamoring at the side of my vessel and I don't know what for, 'cause come hell or high water, I won't see you anymore. You boast about a giant, but I know the truth behind your boat. You're supposedly indestructible, but constructed of things not meant to float. You've capsized, you realize it, and you have the audacity to confuse me and accuse me for your sinking. I didn't fill your ship to capacity, what the hell were you thinking? What the hell were you thinking? Your ship needs a captain with whom it can go down. You didn't bother with a preserver, so you deserve to drown. Get your hands off the side of my vessel, because I ain't gonna let you in. And come hell or high water, I won't see you again. You're taking on water, but you ain't no martyr. So if you're too big to fail, go ahead and sew another sail. Reap what you sew another sail.

about

All The King's Men is the second album from Joshua and The Ruins / Tornado Head / The Everest Ruin.

'All The King's Men' was recorded primarily in one evening in February, 2012, as a cataloging of the band with its material and members at the time. The album was mixed the day of the final Madison show at The Froth House, February 18th, 2012. It was only released upon request by audience members at that show, and the only physical copies made were the ones burned on the spot (maybe 15 total). It is presented here in its remastered form, with the exception of "Ignore It," which is a bonus track.
